We are pleased to announce a merger with Teleworld.
We use "er" in each syllable of "merger", but with a different pronunciation.

As the company has been bought out, there will be some restructuring.

A company can be "bought out", whereas a person or a job can be "made redundant".

This buyout will allow the company to continue to grow
We say "to buy out" as two words and "a buyout" as one word.

The merger will involve restructuring some departments.
We can use "to restructure" with a company or its departments.

We will need to restructure but there will be minimal redundancies.

When a company "restructures", it often involves "redundancies"

The first phase will consist of downsizing.(сокращение штатов)

Remember, this word consists of "down" and "size".

We will provide resources and assistance to anyone who is made redundant. (лишний)

My company faced severe difficulties due to the bombings in Kharkiv.

As a result, we had to downsize and restructure the company to survive.
